Brian Clancy began originating loans in 1979. He comes to Monument through a merger between Monument and his company, Mortgage Capital Solution. "I have always approached my role in the lending process as one in which I work for the borrower, keeping their interests in the forefront of every aspect of the process," Brian says. His philosophy has been successful, as his customer retention rate exceeds 90%. With regard to recent regulatory changes Brian is both optimistic and cautious. "Regulation continues to evolve with consumer protections but has made us less efficient and over the last few years has brought the cost of obtaining a mortgage higher." It takes more experience and expertise than ever before to get the borrower to closing. Brian does warn, "Comparing rates on the internet only begins the process of determining mortgage value." Brian continues to offer personal service, as he promises to "demystify the home buying and selling process."
